Kerry Campaign on the Defensive
Read this front-pager on the WaPost. The Republican atacks are working well. Very well. This is a rough-ass article on Kerry, but at least it's evenhanded:

Bush and Cheney also selectively interpreted Kerry's words to cast them in the worst possible light.

Very true. But so what. He's the douche that was talking about sensitivity and being "proactive".

Comments:
It's not as if this is the first "selective" use of another politicians words. Good god man, what did Michael Moore do? Politics is a scary freaking business in this time of sound-bite editorials. I'm all for written campaigns, trouble is our students are too busy feeling good about themselves to learn how to read.

Let's face it the war in Iraq sucks. Bush went into it without a clear cut plan of action. Kerry and his cronies would have sat on their hands until the issue had reached a crisis proportion. Frankly I think that both parties need to realistically examine that particular situation. But our style of government does not allow this. I support Badnarik for President out of protest and principle. At least his platform isn't predicated upon the bashing of others, nor is it focused on the problems but rather the solutions.
